One Care takes over Easy Ride Services
The Goderich Lions Club and ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services are partnering to support local rides for Goderich seniors. The Lions Club have provided Tuesday and Thursday Seniors Bus rides in Goderich for more than 20 years, using a local bus company. The service will continue but as of Saturday, July 1st it is now provided by ONE CARE, who are able to add the service of a wheelchair accessible bus to do the rides. Click Here for more information.

Goderich Lions Club President Gary Blenkhorn, presents a $5,000 cheque to Connie Tasker, Treasurer and Coordinator for Special Olympics Ontario, South Western Ontario during their annual torch run on June 13, 2017. The money will go a long way in helping the group with expenses like specialized busing requirements and meals during training events. Also in the picture is PDG John Stewart, District A9 Special Olympics Committee Chairman and members of the South Western Ontario Special Olympics team.

Goderich Lions Donate to Goderich Little Theatre
The Goderich Lions Club donated $5,000 to the Goderich Little Theatre to help in their fundraising efforts to cover the cost of a new HVAC system for The Livery.

The Goderich Lions Club donated $5,000 to the Goderich Little Theatre to help in their fundraising efforts to cover the cost of a new HVAC system for The Livery. The cheque presentation was made by Lion Gary Blenkhorn, President of the Goderich Lions Club to Jenna Ujiye, President of the Goderich Little Theatre. On hand for the presentation are on the far left Warren Robinson and far right David Armour co-writers and directors of the latest play “Straight Through the Heart” opening on November 17th.

Unfortunately it was rained out on Saturday, but Sunday was filled with an exciting air show along with a candy drop for the kids. Here Frank Klenk, South Western Ontario Zone Director of the Model Aeronautics Association Of Canada (MAAC) and Darryl Carpenter, President of the Sky Harbour Modelers Club are shown presenting a cheque for $1,000 to Lion Gary Blenkhorn, President of the Goderich Lions Club to go toward the Goderich Lions Camp Klahanie Revitalization Project. The funds were raised from the parking toll and raffles during the event.
